Weehawken Marching Festival was our best Performance Ever!

Our annual return to the Weehawken Marching Festival this past Sunday, November 1st, turned into our greatest performance there yet! The adjudicators all commented on our professionalism from the gate and throughout of performance, our excellent musicianship, our incredible visual and guard improvments, as well as the high energy and commitment of our students! Thanks to all those who came out to support our amazing Marching Band as well as the Weehawken Marching Program. It was a great opportunity to see our Band and Color Guard really shine and boy did they ever! One Band, One Sight, One Sound!

Live on Good Morning America!

On November 2, The Football Team, Cheerleaders and entire Marching Band of NAHS had the amazing opportinity to be chosen to be on live television on the Good Morning America Show as they represented the greatness of our programs here at North Arlington High School! The kids spent the morning in the city and got a flash of how live television works. Most of our kids got some air time and our seniors got to be upclose in the action. You can always visit ABC's webpage page and see it in replay. Congratulations to all!

Halloween Band Movie Night a Huge Success!

Great job to the Drum Majors, elected Officers and all the Students who came dressed to Chill! It was awesome to hear everyone sing the Ghostbusters theme song as we enjoyed a night of food, film and friends!

Welcome To Our Music Department Website

As music educators in the North Arlington Public Schools, it is our goal to contribute to the cultural enrichment of the students in the fine and performing arts with particular emphasis on the discipline of music.

This is achieved through teaching general appreciation in the classroom and though actual performance in the vocal and instrumental mediums.

It is the intent of the teaching staff of the Music Department to widen the aesthetic experiences of the students, parents, and the community through attaining both these primary and secondary goals.

"First you master your instrument, then you master your music...

then forget all of that and just play!" - C. Parker
